IMF team arrives for 7th review
Sri Lanka, Sept. 11 -- A team of representatives from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (10) for the seventh review of the economic reform programme implemented under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).Sri Lanka Tourism
The team is led by the Head of the International Monetary Fund's Sri Lanka Mission, Evan Papageorgiou.
IMF has agreed to provide a financial facility of US $ 2.9 billion for a period of 04 years from March 23, 2023 to March 19, 2027 to rescue Sri Lanka, which has faced the worst economic crisis in its history.
