Sri Lanka, Aug. 7 -- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between the International Campus of Science and Technology (ICST), Batticaloa, and the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Bangladesh, with the aim of expanding international academic co-operation and promoting higher education, research, innovation and quality enhancement in education.

The agreement was signed on behalf of ICST University by its Vice Chancellor, Professor Siriyani Wickramasinghe. Representing Bangladesh IIUC were its Treasurer, Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahbubur Rahman and the Acting Director of the Office of International Affairs and Student Welfare, M.T. Mahfuzur Rahman.
