Sri Lanka, Aug. 14 -- The Board of Management of the Ummu Zaviya Mosque has organised the 124th Annual Shamaailil Muhammadiya to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad. The programme will be held from Saturday (15), to Wednesday (26), at the Ummu Zaviya Mosque in Colombo.
The religious programme will be held with the participation of Ajward Al-Fassy Arabic College Principal Kaleefathul Shazuli Al-Aalim Moulavi Ahmed Sufi (Mahlari). The SLBC Muslim Service will broadcast the programme live from 7.30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on the scheduled days. On Friday (21), the broadcast will be from 8 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. The final day, featuring the Thamaam, on Wednesday (26), will be broadcast live from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
