Sri Lanka, June 23 -- Three students have died and seven others have been left injured after a High School shooting in the central Philippines.

On Monday (22), the Tacloban City Police Office (TCPO) stated in a release that they responded to a report of an active shooting "involving students" at the San Jose National High School. The incident happened around 9 a.m. local time, the TCPO said in an earlier statement.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities secured the area and rushed the injured victims to local hospitals. Police confirmed that all of the victims were minors, with three of them being pronounced dead at the hospital.
