Sri Lanka, Sept. 16 -- Officers of the Special Task Force (STF) Organised Crime Suppression Unit II have arrested a 33-year-old individual with Heroin and Ice worth over Rs. 25 million. The suspect has been identified as a close associate who is believed to be operating the local drug network of organized criminal and large-scale drug trafficker 'Kalubowila Avishka'.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of officers raided a house located on Peiris Mawatha, Kalubowila, within the Kohuwala Police Division, on Monday (14).

During the raid, officers recovered 2 kgs and 10 grams of Ice (crystal methamphetamine), 504 grams of Heroin, 2 mobile phones, an electronic weighing scale, and 2 rubber seals.
