Sri Lanka, July 8 -- Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa yesterday visited the Colombo National Hospital to inquire the health condition of the prison officials and prisoners who are receiving treatment at the hospital following the clash at Negombo Prison.

The Minister visited the wards and Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and inquired the health condition of each and every prison officer and inmate. The Minister later inquired the hospital management about the steps to be taken to treat the injured.
