Health Minister opens modernised biomedical engineering services centre
Sri Lanka, June 17 -- Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa handed over the newly modernised and expanded Division of Biomedical Engineering Services (BES) to the Health Ministry yesterday (16).
During the ceremony held at the BES auditorium, engineering tools were also distributed to provincial BES units.
Korean Ambassador to Sri Lanka Miyon Lee and Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) Secretary-General Baek Kwan-baek attended the event.
KOFIH invested over Rs 501 million in the renovation project, which included the construction of a new auditorium.
