Sri Lanka, Nov. 5 -- Hayleys Solar, the solar energy arm of Hayleys Fentons Limited, inaugurated two ground-mounted solar power projects in Kosgama.

Comprising Kosgama I (2MW) and Kosgama II (3MW), the projects represent the second phase of Hayleys Solar's planned 300MW ground-mounted solar portfolio. Equipped with 10,790 high-efficiency 640W solar panels, the installations are expected to generate approximately 9.9 million kWh of clean electricity annually, avoiding an estimated 6,930 tonnes of CO emissions each year.
