Sri Lanka, May 4 -- A Sri Lankan Hajj pilgrim in the first group of Hajis from Colombo on May 1 died of a heart attack in the holy Masjid in Makkah.Sri Lankan Publishing
The pilgrim died in the early hours of Sunday morning on May 3 immediately after his Thahajjath prayers.

Acting Sri Lankan Consul General in Jeddah, Mafusa Lafir told Daily News the deceased is Atham Kandu Abdul Rauf, 69, who was born in Pottuvil and was living in Akkaraipattu.
Lafir said that according to a fellow pilgrim who was in the same group the deceased was hale and hearty and showed no signs of ill-health.
He got a chest pain following his Thahajath prayers and died within the mosque premises....
