The Gambling Regulatory Authority, operating under the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, has taken regulatory action under the provisions of the Gambling Regulatory Authority Act, No. 17 of 2025, the Ministry said. Accordingly, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL), under the Ministry of Digital Economy, has instructed all telecommunications service providers to prevent access to the identified websites from within Sri Lanka.
