Sri Lanka, April 1 -- Health Deputy Minister Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni stated today that the current Government faced numerous challenges over the past 14 months that previous administrations had never encountered, and was able to emerge stronger by drawing strength from Buddhist philosophy.

The Deputy Minister remarked that the Government does not consist of individuals who merely pretend to observe the Five Precepts or falsely prostrate themselves before the Maha Sangha.
