Sri Lanka, June 24 -- No matter how much the Opposition members try to stir up trouble in Parliament and trying to runaway with the Mace, the Government will not slow down the pace of investigations and the speed of hearing cases, Justice Minister Harshana Nanayakkara told Parliament yesterday.
No matter how many obstacles come, the speed of investigation and the speed of hearing cases will not decrease. Not like before, the number of investigations and the number of cases being heard has increased.
"Those were proven guilty and predicted about these upcoming judgments are terrified and are shouting that the rule of law is no longer there.
"We always make decisions not to protect thieves but to protect the mandate given to us.
