Sri Lanka, May 2 -- SLFP National Organizer, Badulla district MP Chamara Sampath Dasanayake yesterday said that the NPP government is the weakest government ever to rule the country.

He added that the people have already rejected the government and efforts being made by them to revive will end in failure. "We also tried to revive the government led by former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa but we did not succeed,"he said.

Speaking at the SLFP May Day rally, Dasanayake said that the government may organize rallies and public meetings with massive crowds but it will be defeated by the people at future elections.
