Sri Lanka, Oct. 8 -- A delegation representing the Mahanayake Theras of Sri Lanka's three main Buddhist Nikayas will meet President Anura Kumara Dissanayake today (08) to discuss the recent decision to produce Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera before court in civilian clothing.Read Travel Guides

The meeting is scheduled for 1.00 p.m. at the Presidential Secretariat.

The issue was raised by the Mahanayake Theras in a letter sent to the Commissioner General of Prisons following Gnanasara Thera's appearance in court without his robes while serving the remainder of a prison sentence.
