SriLanka, April 4 -- The GMOA yesterday said that a strike will be launched at 8 am today once again, over the transfers over the post internship doctors. GMOA Secretary Dr.Prabath Sugathadasa said post internship doctors will not apply for public service appointments before 12 noon today (4), as ordered by the Health Minister. The GMOA has instructed post internship doctors not to apply for what it described as wrongful public service appointments, highlighting difficulties and issues in rural hospitals. He invited the Minister for an open debate in the media to discuss their issues.
