Sri Lanka, May 28 -- Gayantha Dehiwatte's latest book The Path of Freedom: Dismantling the Imperialist Debt Trap, (de dollarisation) will be held tomorrow, May 29, at 3.30pm at the Lavender Hall, BMICH, Colombo.

Dehiwatte, a graduate of Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, is an entrepreneur and political economic analyst.

His book Wikalpa Maga explores issues of economic sovereignty and the use of alternative currencies, such as the Chinese Yuan, for trade settlements and cross-border payments in order to reduce reliance on IMF-imposed conditions and avoid dependence on US dollar-denominated debt.

Several members of the diplomatic corps in Colombo and academia have been invited to the launch.
