Sri Lanka, June 12 -- A discussion on expediting the implementation of the Galle City Development Project, being carried out under the Major Urban Development Programme, was held at the Presidential Secretariat with the participation of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Wednesday (10).
The President reviewed the progress of initiatives being implemented to develop Galle, a World Heritage city, as a leading cultural and tourist destination. Discussions also focused on challenges encountered in the implementation of the project and possible solutions to address them.
