Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- The Vishwa Hela Foundation, established with the aim of providing relief to low-income families, carried out another successful special social welfare programme recently.

Under this programme, low-income individuals received free reading glasses and financial assistance for medical treatment funded by the personal donations of Nelum Ramya Kapuge, the founder of the Vishwa Hela Foundation. Kapuge said the primary objective of the programme is to alleviate the burdens faced by people experiencing economic hardships and uplift their quality of life.

She mentioned that the Vishwa Hela Foundation expects to continue implementing such humanitarian projects in the future.
