Sri Lanka, July 17 -- The Nuwara Eliya Magistrate's Court has ordered the further remand of four suspects, including the main suspect, until July 30 in connection with the murder of a female physiotherapist in Nuwara Eliya.

The suspects were produced before Nuwara Eliya Magistrate Pushpika Jayadasa yesterday (16), following which the court extended their remand after considering the facts presented by investigators.

Those remanded include the main suspect in the case, his wife, a driver attached to the Kundasale Pradeshiya Sabha who is alleged to have assisted in the crime, and a Chief Inspector of Police who previously served as the Officer-in-Charge of the Menikhinna Police Station.
