Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- Gamini Kithsiri Dias Amarawardhana, a former Secretary to the Cooperatives and Internal Trade Ministry, was arrested on yesterday (2) by investigation officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).

The Commission said in a statement that he faces the charge of committing the offence of corruption in connection with the procurement of chairs for the Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre in Polgolla.
