SriLanka, Sept. 24 -- Former Executive Director and Director of Krrish Group Janaki Siriwardena has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption over an alleged Rs. 70 million bribe paid to MP Namal Rajapaksa.

CIABOC officers arrested Siriwardena this morning (24) when she arrived at the Commission to provide a statement in connection with the ongoing investigation.

According to the investigation, the alleged Rs. 70 million bribe was paid to Rajapaksa on three occasions in exchange for his assistance in securing a property in Colombo Fort, owned by the Urban Development Authority, for Krrish Transworks Colombo (Pvt) Ltd.
