Sri Lanka, Sept. 16 -- Former Air Force Commander Air Chief Marshal Donald Perera left the Police Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) premises after providing a statement lasting nearly six hours in connection with the ongoing investigation into the controversial MIG aircraft purchase deal.

He was summoned by the FCID to provide information regarding the procurement and financial arrangements surrounding the purchase of MiG fighter aircraft for the Sri Lanka Air Force by the country, as part of an ongoing investigation into the controversial transaction.Send Money Overseas
