Due to the war situation in the Middle East, 26 flights scheduled to arrive at the Katunayake Airport by 12 noon yesterday had been cancelled, while 28 flights scheduled to depart from the Katunayake Airport had been cancelled too, the Katunayake Airport duty officer stated.

Also, two Fitz Air and Air Arabia aircraft that departed from Katunayake Airport for the Middle East on Saturday afternoon had returned to Katunayake Airport yesterday.
