Sri Lanka, June 11 -- The Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena yesterday (10) appointed a five-member medical board of psychiatric experts to examine whether former State Intelligence Service chief Suresh Sallay, who is being questioned on suspicion in connection with the investigations into the Easter Sunday attacks, has been subjected to torture in custody and submit a report.

The Magistrate also ordered that the medical examination be conducted at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital.

The Magistrate ordered that the medical report be submitted to the suspect Suresh Sallay before the next Court date on July 1.
