Sri Lanka, April 10 -- A 19-year-old has been killed following an incident at a hotel on Moragahahena Road within the Homagama Police Division last night, with five suspects arrested in connection with the incident.

Homagama Police said they initially received information regarding a sudden death at the location. However, further investigations indicate that the case is being treated as a homicide resulting from an assault allegedly carried out by a group of individuals.

The victim has been identified as a 19-year-old resident of the Nikadalpotha area in Wellawa.
