Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- A co-ordinated operation by the Sri Lanka Navy with the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources led to the seizure of a stock of fish caught using explosives, in Mullaitivu yesterday (7).Cross-border tourism packages

The search was conducted by Naval personnel from SLNS Gotabaya of the Eastern Naval Command, together with officers from the Mullaitivu Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Department. During this operation, the team searched a suspicious fish collecting center in the Puttumatalan beach area and seized over 3,200 kg of fish illicitly caught using explosives.
