SriLanka, Sept. 29 -- The Rs. 10 million Federation Cup youth football tournament will be held at Colombo's Racecourse Ground from October 9 to 11, bringing together 44 teams from seven Sri Lankan provinces for its third consecutive year. Galaxy Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and MI Lanka (Pvt) Ltd are the tournament's two gold sponsors.

Manchester Soccer Academy president Augustine George announced the plans at a press conference at the Duncan White Auditorium at the Ministry of Sports in Colombo. He said the event aimed to develop young players for international competition.
