Sri Lanka, June 19 -- The Horana Special Crime Investigation Unit arrested a person who, while posing as a doctor, committed financial fraud of nearly Rs. 50 million, in Gurugoda, Horana.
The suspect is a 52-year-old resident of the housing scheme in Poruwadanda, Gurugoda, Horana.
Along with the suspect, Police have also taken into custody a stethoscope, a fake Ayurvedic doctor's certificate, a fake identity card which showed him as a Government medical officer, and other forged documents. Police also stated that he did not possess any certificate belonging to a Government doctor.
