Sri Lanka, March 5 -- The European Union has allocated an additional 1 million (over Rs. 370 million) in humanitarian assistance to support communities affected by Tropical Cyclone Ditwah in Sri Lanka.South Asians & Diaspora
The funding aims to address the continuing humanitarian impact of the cyclone and support ongoing relief operations across the country. The assistance will be delivered through humanitarian partner organisations to provide essential services to affected communities.
The European Union said the additional support reaffirms its continued solidarity with Sri Lanka in the aftermath of the disaster.
