Sri Lanka, July 16 -- Indonesia's Ambassador to Sri Lanka Dewi Gustina Tobing met Prime Minister's Secretary Pradeep Saputhanthri at the Prime Minister's Office on Tuesday (14).

During the discussions, both sides reaffirmed the long-standing bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Indonesia and noted that the two countries will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2027.

The discussions highlighted the importance of expanding cultural exchanges and strengthening people-to-people connectivity, particularly through tourism, as key avenues for enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries. Both sides reviewed existing trade and economic co-operation.
