SriLanka, Sept. 21 -- England once again came up with a superb performance defeating Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the third T20 at Old Trafford in Manchester on Saturday to complete a 3-0 series sweep. It was England's 15th straight T20 win over Sri Lanka and visitors were out played in all three departments in three matches in a row.

The hosts chased down Sri Lanka's 125-run target with 62 balls to spare while Sri Lanka's 124 all out in 18.5 overes is the lowest team total in this series. English bowlers made a superb effort to overcome Sri Lanka batters in all three matches. This series win also helped England rise to the top of the T20 World Rankings, replacing India.
