SriLanka, Sept. 10 -- EDOTCO Services Lanka (Private) Limited has signed a US$10 million investment agreement with the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) to expand shared digital infrastructure across the country, as the company marks 10 years of operations in Sri Lanka.

Under the investment programme, to be implemented over the next 30 months, EDOTCO plans to deploy 130 macro towers, 300 multi-purpose smart lamp poles and 650 energy sites.

The expansion is expected to support wider network coverage, encourage infrastructure sharing among mobile network operators and meet rising demand for reliable digital services.
