Sri Lanka, July 11 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya told Parliament that none of the domestic and foreign donations received during the Ditwah disaster were deposited in illegal accounts and that they have been securely deposited in accounts under the control of the Treasury.

She clarified stating that therefore, there is no question about the legality of the accounts in which all the Ditwah donations received have been securely deposited. She assured that these funds will be used by the Government for future needs with utmost transparency and accountability.
