Sri Lanka, July 16 -- Discussions on strengthening Sri Lanka's technology, human resources and institutional readiness for the country's digital transformation commenced with the inaugural meeting of the newly established Development Partner Working Group on Digital Transformation, held on July 13.

The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eranga Weeraratne and United Nations Resident Coordinator in Sri Lanka Marc-Andre Franche. Secretary to the Ministry of Digital Economy Waruna Sri Dhanapala, representatives of international development partners and United Nations agencies also participated.
