Sri Lanka, June 19 -- A discussion on the preparations and current organisational arrangements for the Upasampada Vinaya Karma Mahotsavaya (Higher Ordination Ceremony) of the Maha Viharavanshika Sri Lanka Amarapura Maha Nikaya, which is scheduled to be held with State patronage, took place yesterday (18) at the Presidential Secretariat.

The meeting was co-chaired by the Chief Secretary of the Sri Lanka Amarapura Maha Sangha Sabha, Rajakeeya Pandit and Doctor of Philosophy, Venerable Balapitiye Siriseewali Nayaka Thera and President's Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
