Sri Lanka, June 9 -- The Government took a major step towards realizing its vision of a digitally empowered education system with the launch of the Human Resources Module of the National Education Management Information System (NEMIS HRM - Phase 1) and the 'e-Thaksalawa' Learning Management System (LMS) Pilot Project at Temple Trees on Saturday (6).

The official ceremony was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, who emphasized the importance of building a democratic education system that provides equal access to quality education for every child in the country.
