Sri Lanka, June 6 -- The Health Ministry will launch a special dengue prevention campaign on June 8, 9 and 10 in 74 Medical Offices of Health (MOH) Divisions in 14 districts with the support of police and the tri-forces.
Special attention will be paid to areas where there is a high risk of dengue spread.
The National Dengue Control Unit announced that strict legal action will be taken against individuals who allow mosquito breeding sites to exist on their premises. Measures will include the issuance of red notices and the enforcement of relevant laws to curb the spread of dengue.
