Dengue not yet brought under control - PHIs
Srilanka, July 4 -- The Sri Lanka Public Health Inspector's Association stated that the dengue epidemic situation has not yet been brought under control. Acting President Upul Rohana, said that although the epidemic situation is currently somewhat under control in the areas where the epidemic was first reported, the dengue epidemic situations are being reported in new areas.
He stated that due to the current weather conditions, light rains have begun in some areas and as a result, the number of mosquitoes has increased further and there is a risk that the current situation will worsen further.
