Sri Lanka, April 27 -- Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Sampath Thuyacontha held discussions with Haiti's Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aime and Foreign Affairs Minister Raina Forbin, during his official visit to the United Nations in New York.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Haiti, with particular emphasis on enhancing defence co-operation and exploring avenues of mutual interest. Both sides exchanged views on regional and global security dynamics and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering closer collaboration through diplomatic and defence channels.
