Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- The very Severe Cyclonic storm "Arnab" over West-Central Bay of Bengal is very likely to make landfall through Andhra Pradesh as a very severe Cyclonic storm today morning, the Meteorology Department forecast.
It is expected that the impact of this system on the weather conditions across the island will gradually decrease starting today.
Several spells of showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa Pprovinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara Districts.
Showers or thunder showers will occur at a few places in the Uva Province and in Batticaloa and Ampara Districts after 1.00 p.m.
