CPC fuel stocks to last three months - Chairman
Sri Lanka, Oct. 7 -- The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) urged the public not to panic unnecessarily, as the corporation possesses fuel reserves required for the next three months.
CPC Chairman D.J.Rajakaruna said, if there is no change in fuel prices in the global market, fuel can continue to be provided at the current prices.
Participating in a press conference held at the Colombo Head Office yesterday (6), Rajakaruna stated that if no major issue arises in the global fuel market over the next three months, the current fuel prices and supply status can be maintained. He further emphasised that there is no reason for a major fuel crisis in the country.
