Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- The Colombo High Court yesterday ordered the recall of the arrest warrant issued for former State Minister Diana Gamage over a case filed for allegedly forging a birth certificate to obtain a National Identity Card.Read Travel Guides

The case was taken up yesterday before Colombo High Court Judge Nadee Aparna Suwadurugoda through a motion, and the defence informed court the accused was unable to appear at the last occasion due to an urgent matter.

The defence therefore sought permission from court to withdraw the arrest warrant issued against the accused.

Considering the facts, the Colombo High Court Judge ordered the recall of the arrest warrant.Read Travel Guides
