Sri Lanka, July 31 -- With the objective of further discussing the introduction of Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) passenger drone operations in Sri Lanka, a high-level technical discussion was held at the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) with the participation of representatives from EHang Intelligent and other key aviation industry stakeholders.

Following a meeting held on July 27th with the Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation, Eng. Janitha Ruwan Kodithuwakku, this second round of discussions concluded successfully as another step in the government's ongoing effort to safely and systematically explore modern air transportation technologies in Sri Lanka.
