Srilanka, Oct. 3 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) will establish 23 regional offices across the country before the end of this year as part of a major expansion of its operations, Director General Ranga Dissanayake told Parliament's Committee on Public Finance.Prevent Fraud

He said District Secretaries had already inspected suitable government buildings to accommodate the new offices.While some of these buildings will be renovated and used by CIABOC, the remaining offices will be established in rented premises.

Dissanayake said the Commission would also recruit 971 new personnel to strengthen its capacity and support the expanded regional network.
