Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- Several bank accounts belonging to Rakitha Rajapakshe, the son of former Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, have been suspended by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).

The action has been taken under the provisions of the law relating to proceeds derived from criminal activity of the Proceeds of Crime Act, No. 5 of 2025, in connection with an ongoing probe that is being conducted by the CIABOC.
