The event, in parallel with World Coconut Day which falls on September 2, was jointly organised by Kalutara Regional Coconut Cultivation Board, with the Plantation and Community Infrastructure Ministry, Coconut Cultivation Board, Coconut Research Institute and Coconut Development Authority.
