Sri Lanka, June 24 -- The Cabinet of Ministers on Monday (22) approved a proposal to remove the legal provisions requiring the use of indelible ink to mark voters during elections, Cabinet Spokesman and Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said.

Addressing the weekly Cabinet press briefing held in Colombo yesterday (23), the Minister added that the current elections laws require the voter to pose a valid identity card and be marked with indelible ink.
