Bus plunges down precipice injuring 40 in Diyatalawa
Sri Lanka, June 29 -- An SLTB bus plunged down a precipice near the Diyatalawa railway station early Saturday morning (27) at around 12.45 a.m. after the driver lost control, leaving more than 40 people injured. They have been admitted to the Diyatalawa Teaching Hospital. Hospital sources state that the condition of three individuals remains critical, and they have been transferred to the Badulla Provincial General Hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
