Sri Lanka, July 6 -- The annual bus fare revision comes into effect from today.

According to the National Transport Commission (NTC), the minimum bus fare for normal services will increase from Rs.30 to Rs.34, while the maximum fare will rise from Rs.2,422 to Rs.2,902.

Furthermore, under the semi-luxury bus services, the minimum fare will increase from Rs.44 to Rs.51, while its maximum fare will go up from Rs.3,330 to Rs.4,353.
