Sri Lanka, July 29 -- To mark Esala Poya Day, the annual Buddhist devotional song programme presented by the Panadura Media and Cultural Foundation, will be held for the 26th consecutive year. Organised by the Panadura Public Library and its Readers' Society, this event will be held on Thursday (30), at 5:30 pm. at the Library premises.
This Programme, shaped by the creative contribution of journalist and artist Nishantha Chaminda Peiris, is presented this time with the generous sponsorship of Odelia Homes & Real. Launched in 2001, the Gee programme is the only one of its kind in Sri Lanka to have been presented continuously and annually for 26 years.
